A man has been charged following an incident in Braunstone Town earlier this week.
Hari Mann, 25, of Lancaster Place, Leicester, has been charged with two counts of possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and two counts of modifying an imitation firearm.
He has also been charged with one count of impersonating a police officer and one count of assault of an emergency worker.
Mann has been remanded into custody and is due to appear at Leicester Magistrates’ Court today (Saturday 8 June).
The charges relate to a report of a firearm being discharged in a car park in The Glade, Braunstone Town on Tuesday morning (4 June).
