Detectives are continuing to investigate after a man was stabbed in Braunstone Park.
Police received a call at 3.04pm yesterday (Thursday 2 May) from East Midlands Ambulance Service following the stabbing of an 18-year-old man.
The victim, who is believed to be known to his attackers, was assaulted while in Braunstone Park, Cort Crescent remains in hospital in a stable condition.
A cordon was in place at the scene as enquiries were being carried out and has since been lifted.
A 26-year-old man and two men aged 21 were arrested yesterday on suspicion of attempted murder. They have since been released on bail.
Reassurance patrols were conducted overnight and remain in place over the weekend and local officers are available to address any concerns residents may have.
Detective Sergeant Paul Vincent, from the force’s Complex Investigation team, said: “Our investigation is very much ongoing and despite these arrests, we would still like to speak to anyone who may have any information at all which may be linked to this incident.
“Did you see the assault or the circumstances leading up to it? Do you have any information about the people involved?
“If you have any information, which could be of use to our investigation and haven’t as yet spoken to us, please get in touch.”
