An appeal was made by police on Tuesday (19 November) after a 15-year-old girl had been approached by a man in the area of Sawday Street/Burnmoor Street and has been spoken to on several occasions.
The teenager had been left extremely distressed by the incidents.
An image of a man police wished to speak to was released and he has since been identified.
As part of our enquiries, a 38 year-old man has been arrested and released on police bail pending further enquiries as our investigation continues.
