A pedestrian remains in hospital with serious injuries following a collision on Red Hill Way, Leicester.
Police received a call at 5.28pm yesterday (Wednesday 6 November) that a collision involving a silver Suzuki motorbike GSR and a pedestrian had taken place at the pedestrian crossing close to the junction with Belgrave Boulevard.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
The motorcyclist, who was travelling towards Beaumont Leys, was also injured and remains in hospital in a stable condition.
Detective Sergeant Ed Des-Chanelle, from the force’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, is appealing for witnesses.
DS Des-Chanelle said: “We would like to speak to anyone who may have seen the collision or the circumstances leading up to it.
“There were a number of drivers in the area at the time, some of which spoke to officers at the scene.
“If you did witness something and have not spoken to us, or captured something on your dash cam, please get in touch with us.”
