An investigation is ongoing after a man was found with stab wound injuries in Narborough Road, Leicester, this afternoon (Sunday).
Police were contacted at 3.50pm by East Midlands Ambulance Service who were in attendance at the scene where the man was found.
The man has been taken to hospital where he is currently receiving treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
Police are in attendance at the scene and are speaking with a number of witnesses as they continue to establish the full circumstances of the incident.
Detective Inspector Leigh Rowlson said: “We are carrying out a number of enquiries into this incident to establish what has happened and how this has happened.
“If you have any information, please make contact with us as soon as possible. If you have seen or heard anything which you think may be connected, then please get in touch.
“I am also appealing to anyone with any CCTV or dashcam footage from the area this afternoon, who has not yet spoken to us, to make contact.”
