Detectives are appealing for public help after a 64-year-old man sustained serious injuries when he was pushed in Kirby Muxloe.
Sometime between 6.35pm and 6.55pm last Monday (27 January) the victim got off a bus on Station Road, as he was walking towards the zebra crossing near Barwell Road he was pushed from behind.
He fell to the floor where he sustained a fracture to his hip and was taken to hospital for treatment.
The suspect made off from the area and officers are keen to identify the person responsible.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information which may assist enquiries is asked to get in touch. Also, officers would like to speak to anyone who may have been driving in the area last Monday evening and has dashcam equipment installed in their vehicles, if you captured any footage please contact us.
