A 16-year-old has died following a serious collision in Welford Road last week.
Police were called to the scene, at the junction with Baldwin Road, just after 3pm on Tuesday (21 April) following a report of a collision involving a pedestrian and two vans.
Tyler Barrett, from Fleckney, was taken to hospital but died as a result of his injuries on Thursday (23 April). Tyler was a strong believer in organ donation and his family have carried out his wishes that his organs have been used to save the lives of others.
No arrests have been made an investigation into the incident is continuing.
Officers from our Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are continuing appeal for anyone who can assist with enquiries to get in touch. This includes anyone who witnessed the incident or motorists with dashcam footage.
