Her Majesty The Queen’s Lying-in-State at Westminster Hall
The Queen's coffin will travel in a ceremonial procession from Buckingham Palace to the Palace of Westminster via Queen's Gardens, The Mall, Horse Guards and Horse Guards Arch, Whitehall, Parliament Street, Parliament Square and New Palace Yard on Wednesday 14 September.
Members of the public will be able to watch the procession at viewing areas along the route or on screens in Hyde Park from 11am.
Lying-in-State will take place from 5pm on Wednesday 14 September until 6.30am on Monday 19 September. During that time the public will be able to walk past The Queen’s coffin to pay respects 24 hours a day.
If you're planning to pay your respects at Westminster Hall please be aware that you may be queuing for several hours, possibly overnight, as very large crowds are expected.
Please make sure you check ahead, plan your route and be prepared for very long wait times.
All those attending the Lying-in-State will go through airport-style security and there are tight restrictions on what you can take in, with only small bags permitted.
