Coronavirus (Covid-19): Please only call 999 if it is an emergency. If it's not an emergency, use our online services if you can. Please only contact us about a social distancing violation if you think there is a serious breach of the rules.
To play your part in sharing the road, please take note of the following advice:
Pass wide and with caution
Do not drive too close to the kerb, especially if there are pedestrians nearby
Be aware of cyclists, horses and any other road users on your inside
Never overtake if: your view is blocked, other drivers might not be able to see you, there is too little room, the road narrows, you’re approaching a junction or there is ‘dead ground’ – a drip in the road that could hide an oncom9ing vehicle
