All applicants must:
Be a United Kingdom, European Union or commonwealth citizen, with no restrictions on your stay in the United Kingdom.

Be educated to GCSE Grade C/Level 4/5 in English Language or equivalent, or be able to demonstrate the use of English Language to that standard.
You will also need to demonstrate strong examples of work and personal experience in order to meet the essential and desirable criteria.

Whether or not you were born in the United Kingdom, you should have resided there for the 3 years immediately preceding your application.
A medical assessment is there to make sure that you are healthy enough for the training required. Your application will be rejected if you fail to meet the minimum acceptable medical standard for entry. Your medical history is confidential and is not disclosed to those not authorised to hold this information.
A medical assessment will generally be carried out by our Occupational Health Team. They will check the following:
You will be asked to complete a confidential medical history questionnaire. Depending on your medical history, we may have to contact your GP/specialist for further information.
Once you have been declared medically fit we will progress your application to the next stage.
