We can take your fingerprints for the following reasons:
We'll provide the best quality fingerprints possible, but quality may be affected by factors out of our control, such as medical conditions. It's your responsibility to ensure that our service meets your requirements. Please see our terms and conditions below.
Please note we do not currently provide fingerprints for DBS applications.
A set of fingerprints consists of 10 rolled fingers, plain impressions and, if required, palm prints.
One set of fingerprints: £126.24
Each additional set or thumb print only: £63.12
Prices include VAT.
The following countries are exempt from paying VAT:
For these countries one set of fingerprints costs £105.20 and then £52.60 for each additional set or thumb print only.
You'll be asked to provide:
Payment for the fingerprints will be taken in advance of the appointment so you'll not be able to ask for additional fingerprints to be taken on the day. Only the fingerprints requested when making the booking will be provided.
Once we confirm your appointment you'll receive a link within seven days to make payment online. You must make payment within 48 hours of receiving the payment request or the appointment will be automatically cancelled.
Please note we do not accept cash or payment on the day.

Please also bring a copy of your payment receipt, which can be printed or shown on your smartphone or tablet.
Some countries require us to verify more than one identity document when taking your fingerprints. Please make sure you check before your appointment and bring the necessary identity documents with you. If you don't, we won't be able to take your fingerprints.
If the country to which you are sending your fingerprints requires them to be taken on a specific form please print this form and bring it with you to the appointment. If you don't, we won't be able to take your fingerprints.

Please aim to arrive at least five minutes before your booked time. On arrival, please go to the main reception desk.
If you have any accessibility requirements please contact us to discuss them before making an appointment. The main reception has disabled access and the room where fingerprints are taken is wheelchair friendly.
If you need an interpreter for the appointment it is your responsibility to bring one with you as we cannot provide one for you, or cover the cost.
If you need to change or cancel your appointment once it has been booked and paid for, please do so on the fingerprints online booking system. If you have any issues with the online system please email us or phone 0116 248 2828. We'll refund your payment if you fail to attend the payment or if you cancel.

We'll provide the best quality fingerprints possible. However, the quality of fingerprints can be affected by medical conditions such as skin conditions, age, wear and tear, excessive sweating and injury. We ask that you do not use hand cream before attending an appointment as this can affect fingerprint quality. Before your fingerprints are taken please discuss with us any concerns or factors which may affect the quality of your fingerprints. If we feel that we can't provide good enough quality fingerprints, we may refuse to take them. In these cases, we'll refund you the fee paid.
It is your sole responsibility to ensure that our service is fit for your purposes, you provide any information, ID and/or documentation required and follow all instructions given by us. We're not processing agents for any application or reasons that you require fingerprints for and it's your responsibility to ensure that any application is correctly made. Our responsibility is to provide you with your fingerprints or put your fingerprints on to the appropriate form. It's your responsibility to bring with you to the appointment any form that needs to be completed and failure to do so may mean that your fingerprints will not be taken.
We do not accept any responsibility for any agency that says they are not able to use or process your application/fingerprints, or if they say the fingerprints are not of satisfactory quality. If we have made an obvious error/are at fault then we will take your fingerprints again, or correct or re-do any forms/parts of forms completed by us that contain errors free of charge.
The fee payable for your fingerprints will be confirmed when you book your appointment. All payments must be made in advance online. If you fail to make payment within 48 hours of being sent the link your appointment will be cancelled and you'll need to book again through the fingerprints online booking system. Please note we do not accept cash, cheques or payment at the appointment and therefore you cannot change your order when you attend your appointment.
You'll need to provide valid current photo ID. Some countries require more than one identity document to be provided. Please make sure you check before your appointment and bring the necessary identity documents with you. If you don't, we won't be able to take your fingerprints.
If you fail to attend or cancel your appointment we will refund your payment. Please note that refunds can take up to 28 days to be processed.
Your fingerprints are your property and as they are personal to you there is no right to cancel and seek a refund once they have been taken. Your fingerprints will be given to you once taken and we do not keep or retain any copies of them.
