Your dedicated neighbourhood team
Your Dedicated Neighbourhood Team (DNT) is a group of local police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

Reports of anti-social behaviour (ASB) increase during the summer holiday period within parks, open spaces and recreational areas. Issues include nuisance behaviour, alcohol-related disorder, littering, damage to property and activities that negatively affect residents and visitors.
Action taken:
The beat team already patrol ASB hotspot locations regularly and this will continue over the next three months inline with the above suggestion.

Priority:
Following crime and anti-social behaviour pattern analysis, an increase in reports of anti-social behaviour has been identified on Beatty Avenue. This behaviour is having a negative impact on the community and contributing to concerns around safety and quality of life within the area.

Priority:
Road safety concerns have been reported by the community across the North Evington Ward. These include speeding, vehicles driving the wrong way on one-way streets, inconsiderate and obstructive parking, and concerns relating to large vehicles causing disruption and posing risks to other road users. These issues impact the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and motorists and contribute to concerns regarding road safety.
Action taken:
This beat priority builds on regular action and patrols including operation syphon already taken place by the beat team and will continue based on feedback from the communities.
