  • Priority:

You have told us that Anti-Social behaviour causes you concern. This can be things like excessive noise, parties, smoking drugs and more. We will be working with partners to ensure we can tackle these issues and reduce their occurrence.

    Issued 28 May 2025

    Action taken:

Your local Police Beat Team and Response Officers have regularly patrolled locations as reported by yourselves re: Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) and Drug related incidents.

Some incidents of ASB, where youths were gathering and causing nuisance to residents in Bell St park have been focused on by the beat team who have worked with partners to educate those involved and reduce reported incidents.

Officers have stop checked several persons and vehicles, involved in drugs, in the last couple of months, from information provided by yourselves, and again reduction in reported drugs related incidents.

    Actioned 28 May 2025

  • Priority:

You told us that you were concerned about vehicle crime. This can be theft of motor vehicles or theft from motor vehicles, this also includes theft of tools from vans and theft of catalytic convertors.

    Issued 28 May 2025

    Action taken:

Officers have conducted regular patrols of the areas where offences have occurred, we also use covert and overt tactics to target offences. We will continue to do this going forward.
In the last few months, catalytic convertors and number plates were the main theft from vehicles offences reported. CCTV provided valuable intelligence on the times the offences were happening and possible vehicles involved, to assist in our patrol strategy. There has been a significant reduction in these reports.
