Motorcross bikes are being used in an anti-social manner around the areas of Mill Lane and the Quarry

particularly during peak times when incidents are reported.  We have gathered and reviewed intelligence from community reports, CCTV and other available evidence to identify offenders.
Officers have issued warning letters, Section 59 notices (where appropriate), and other enforcement powers against riders involved in anti-social use of vehicles.

Patrols have been conducted regularly and we’re pleased to say with very little e-scooter activity observed. We are sure this issue has not gone away and we will continue to monitor.

Youths are acting in an anti-social manner on Wood Street Park, with reports of them drinking, fighting, setting fires, and causing damage to fences

Patrols were conducted in the Wood Street Park area, where officers engaged with a group of youths. Through this engagement, it was established that they were the individuals entering the Ivydence Close Care Home. Strong words of advice were given regarding their behaviour and all relevant details were obtained. The youths' names have been added to ECINS for intelligence purposes. This was a positive engagement with a really good outcome, as those involved were identified and appropriately addressed.
