I have served as a police officer since 2001, beginning my career with Dyfed-Powys Police before transferring to Leicestershire Police in 2007. My experience spans various operational roles, including response and neighbourhood policing, and I hold specialist command qualifications in firearms and public order.
I currently lead the South Leicester Neighbourhood Policing Area, working collaboratively with internal teams, external partners, and the community to enhance safety and quality of life across the region.
I have been a police officer since 2001, when I first started at Loughborough. I have performed a variety of roles throughout my service, and am now working as the beat sergeant for Knighton, Aylestone and Clarendon Park.
I hope to be able to tackle the issues that matter the most to the local communities. Please feel free to contact me to discuss anything that concerns you.
I’ve served as a police officer for over 11 years, working across various investigative roles before moving into neighbourhood policing. I’m passionate about building trust, solving local issues, and being a visible, approachable presence in the community. I enjoy working closely with residents and partners to make our neighbourhoods safer and stronger.
I have proudly served with Leicestershire Police since 2012, beginning my career as a Police Community Support Officer (PCSO). During this time, I developed a strong understanding of community policing and built valuable relationships with local residents, businesses and partner agencies.
In 2020, I became a Police Constable and have since worked in a variety of policing roles, gaining experience across different areas of the organisation. These roles have helped me develop a broad range of skills and a strong understanding of the challenges facing our communities.
As a Neighbourhood Officer, I am committed to working closely with residents, businesses and partner organisations to address local concerns, prevent crime and improve community safety. I am passionate about building trust, engaging with the public and helping to make our neighbourhoods safer places to live, work and visit.
I have been a Police Community Support officer since Autumn 2025.
Since joining the Aylestone beat team, I have made a conscious effort to get my name out into the community as a point of contact and to try and make a difference by tackling ASB and other low level crime as part of my role. The biggest change I want to make is giving the community the confidence to confide in police and become a wider network.
Outside of work, I like to take on new challenges, particularly through fundraising activities such as skydiving and muddy runs, helping to raise vital money for charitable causes.
I enjoy spontaneous adventures and travelling around the UK in search of hidden gems, which allows me to embrace new experiences.

Anti-social behaviour in Aylestone Meadows.
Issued 01 July 2026
We have increased our presence in Aylestone Meadows and dealt with a number of minor incidents of anti-social behaviour, including the use of motorbikes and drug activity. We have seen an increase in graffiti and so will be trying to identify those responsible. Our presence has also resulted in the disruption of anti-social behaviour incidents and the seizure of a car for no insurance. If you have information that could help us, you can report it anonymously through the Crimestoppers website.
