Road safety – numerous reports of overweight vehicles and speeding motorists within the villages. This is being addressed best we can as a small team. The issue remains one for many areas and we understand the concerns. We continue to complete speed enforcement days with the assistance of volunteers and our road safety team. The reality is that longer term solutions are key with permanent speed calming measures to be implemented. Highways should be contacted also with any concerns. We will continue to disrupt and enforce wherever we can.
