Burglaries
Issued 01 October 2026
The beat team will continue to patrol the beat especially in the darker nights on the build up to Christmas to deter burglaries and make local residents feel safer in their homes. These patrols may take place in a marked police vehicle, unmarked vehicle or on foot. We will continue to assist those vulnerable across the area where suitable. This may be by handing out general advice on how to make your home look occupied even if you are not there, giving out bags full of equipment for residents to place in their homes that can deter potential criminals or hosting a range of Local Officer Drop-in sessions across the next few months giving locals an opportunity to speak with their beat team about all things burglary safety.
