Rural crime:
You said: The issue of theft of agricultural equipment and other plant from commercial farming locations, equipment being used to commit other offences, and livestock offences and other wildlife crime has been highlighted as a priority you want us to work on.

what are we going to do:
Our patrols will be planned around the more vulnerable properties and areas to ensure there is a high police presence. Aswell as this we will be encouraging the public to mark their machinery/equipment and install CCTV to prevent thefts.

Theft and Burglary:
you said: The issues of theft and burglary, commercial burglary, but also dwelling breaks and theft offences are a priority you want us to work on.

what we are going to do:
Through crime analysis we will target our high visibility patrols during peak offending times. Through neighbourhood link and community engagement we will continue to encourage residents to lock doors use alarms and CCTV systems. we will also gather intelligence through reports, partner agencies and local residents.

Road safety:
you said: speeding vehicles in Rutland is a priority you want us to address across the country, but in particular the A47 corridor. Along a wider problem of traffic management, parking problems and associated issues on the A606 in and around Rutland Water and it's village and its tributaries.

what we are going to do:
by engaging with the community through beat surgeries, reports and foot patrols we are able to target our patrols focusing on speed monitoring with speed guns and giving appropriate tickets to those disregarding the speed limits.
