I joined Leicestershire Police in 2004, having previously worked in the engineering sector for over 20 years.
I started my career on the Melton area in 2004 where I worked as a General Duty Officer before joining Rutland in April 2007. Since joining Rutland, I have been part of a Neighbourhood Action Team and have spent a period of time in CID. I have just spent 6 years as the Beat Manager for Uppingham and previous to that I managed Oakham Town before moving to my current role of Dedicated Neighbourhood Officer for Rutland South in April 2017.
I will be working closely with the rest of the neighbourhood team providing a visible police presence, identifying and putting into place community issues, along with tackling crime and anti-social behaviour within the area
I became a PCSO in March 2005.
I have been stationed in Uppingham since October 2005 and I firmly believe that my role provides an approachable and consistent daily link between the local community and police.
