We have had an increase in reports of Anti social behaviour in and around the area of what is locally know as ;"The Black Path";
Residents have been reporting youths throwing items at houses, and knocking on doors.

Daily Patrols are being conducted by the beat team,
Officers have identified an address where a child from house has been involved in throwing items. The family have been an Anti-social Behaviour Warning letter, which is hoped to prevent further issues.
A patch walk has been arranged for the 22nd of February, where the team will be in the area carrying out Surveys.
We are hoping the local ward councillors will also be in attendance.

We continue to receive concerns from retailers and Security at the Beaumont Leys Shopping centre that there still a significant increase in shoplifting and threats being made to store staff.

WE DID.
A problem Management Plan has been created.
We will work along side the retail stores and security to tackle the offenders.
Crime prevention patrols are taking place by Uniformed staff and plain clothed patrols have also taken place.
During December a number of arrests have been made of known shoplifters, with charges brought.
One offender was taken to court the following day of their arrest, he pleaded not guilty so a court trial will be heard in February. We are applying for a Crime behaviour order preventing him from returning to the shopping centre.
On the 15th Of January another male was arrested, charged, remanded to court for stealing a number of beanie hats. The courts have sent him to Prison for 16 weeks.

We have seen an increase in Theft from Motor Vehicles, especially at Heathley Park.
Light commercial vehicles are being targeted for tools being left inside overnight

The Team are pleased to say that since the start of the year, there have been no reports of theft from motor vehicles in this area, Our beat team have been patrolling the area,
Practical advice has been published on the West Leics Police Facebook account..
The team will be out carrying out house visits to offer crime prevention advice on the 3rd of February
