WE DID:
The Cultural Quarter Team along with colleagues from our hotspot team conducted an operation called Op Streetwise. This is targeted enforcement in the area around ASB and road traffic offences. A number of vehicles were stopped and drivers/occupants spoken to. A couple of seizures took place under the new Section 59 legislation. Following engagements with local businesses, many are reporting an improvement in the area.

WE DID:
The Cultural Quarter team have continued to conduct high visibility patrols in the area with PCSOs also holding engagements with local people. Our intelligence picture of the location and surrounding areas continues to develop. Those with identified vulnerabilities have also been offered the correct safeguarding.

WE DID:
Officers have continued to hold targeted engagement events in our open spaces particularly during the evening time. We have spoken with lots of members of the community regarding the local spaces and their thoughts and feelings in these areas. We will continue to utilise the PSPO where possible and our other ASB powers.
