Your Dedicated Neighbourhood Team (DNT) is a group of local police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
Police are developing and targeting people within the area that are drug dealing, exploiting vulnerable people by cuckooing addresses and causing anti-social behaviour from this type of crime.

Police aim to tackle vehicle crime by the use of Problem management profiles. This will be targeted patrol times to disrupt the use of ASB with vehicles, disruption tactics on a wider scale using specialist officers.
Theft and associated offences will be targeted by pursuing reasonable lines of enquiry to assist identify and prosecute offenders in a timely manner
