The team have been conducting high-visibility patrols across a number of stores, providing reassurance to staff and helping to deter shop theft.
The team have continued patrols at key retail locations and worked closely with partner stores to tackle repeat offending. Officers have assisted with the collection and review of CCTV evidence, obtained witness statements, and developed intelligence relating to a prolific offender, who has since been arrested.

ASB - Feedback from residents shows that Anti-Social Behaviour involving the use of off-road motorcycles across the area is a priority concern for residents.
Issued 01 July 2026
High-visibility patrols continue across Shepshed, Hathern, Thorpe Acre and Dishley following reports of off-road motorcycles being ridden in the area. Particular attention has been given to Glenmore Park and Oakley Park, Pear Tree Lane Park, Jubilee Park, Coe Avenue and Jubilee Path.
The beat team has continued to engage with local residents and partner agencies to address concerns and gather intelligence regarding those responsible for anti-social behaviour involving off-road motorcycles.
In addition, PCSO 6000 has met with Charnwood Borough Council to discuss practical measures that could be implemented to help deter and reduce the use of off-road motorcycles.
As part of our ongoing efforts to address this issue, the beat team has issued Anti-Social Behaviour Warning Letters to individuals involved. This forms the first stage of the incremental approach used to tackle the irresponsible use of off-road bikes within the community and will support further enforcement action where necessary.
The team remains committed to addressing this priority through targeted patrols, engagement, and enforcement activity to improve the quality of life for residents and visitors to the area.

Enquiries remain ongoing, with information being assessed and developed to support future warrants and enforcement opportunities. The community is encouraged to continue reporting concerns, as information provided by residents remains vital in helping the team tackle drug-related harm within the area.
