Drugs – We are aware that drugs have been a priority on the Saffron / Freemen beat for a while and this is going to continue. Officers have conducted a number of drugs warrants in relation to Clear, Hold, Build / Safer Saffron (CHB). We will continue to work hard to gain intelligence and bring offenders before the courts.
Issued 01 April 2025
A three month closure order has been issued by the courts for an address on The Crossway after persistent problems with ASB and drugs activity at the address. Officers are continuing to monitor the situation and will also look to use similar powers at other locations should the need arise.

ASB – The area of Old Saffron Lane, Saffron Lane sports stadium and Maris Lane will be our priorities over the next three months as you have told us ASB is on the rise with the lighter evenings.
