Anti-Social Behaviour in and around Braunstone Park continues as a priority concern from the community. Over the spring period, the team will continue to concentrate on this location.
Issued 01 April 2026
Anti-social behaviour in and around Braunstone Park remains a key priority identified by the local community.
Throughout May, the beat team has maintained a strong focus on this area as part of ongoing spring and summer policing plans, aimed at providing reassurance, deterring ASB, and positively engaging with those using the park.
Since the last update, officers have continued to conduct regular high-visibility patrols in and around Braunstone Park. This visible presence is designed to prevent anti-social behaviour, respond promptly to any emerging issues, and provide reassurance to members of the public.
The team has also delivered a number of engagement opportunities, including beat surgeries at The Grove and Braunstone Leisure Centre, allowing residents to raise concerns and speak directly with officers.
In addition, officers were present at the ‘Race for Life’ event held in Braunstone Park during May, supporting community engagement and reinforcing a positive police presence.

From Community Surveys and Feedback on Neighbourhood Link, road safety has been highlighted to be a local concern. We will continue to concentrate on speeding concerns and anti social behaviour caused by e bikes, e scooters and off road motorbikes.
Issued 01 April 2026
Road safety continues to be a key priority for the Braunstone and Rowley Fields beat team, following ongoing feedback from the community through surveys and Neighbourhood Link.
Particular concerns remain around speeding and anti-social behaviour involving e-bikes, e-scooters and off-road motorbikes.
Throughout May, the team has maintained a proactive approach to tackling these issues. A targeted road safety operation was carried out, resulting in the seizure of two illegal e-bikes.
These vehicles were being used unlawfully and posed a clear risk to both pedestrians and other road users. Their removal demonstrates continued enforcement against nuisance and dangerous riding behaviour.
In addition to enforcement activity, officers have continued to carry out patrols in key areas identified through community feedback, ensuring a visible presence to deter anti-social use of vehicles and reassure residents.
The beat team will continue to prioritise road safety through a combination of high-visibility patrols and targeted operations, focusing on speeding and vehicle-related ASB.
We continue to encourage residents to report concerns, as community information is essential in directing our patrols and enforcement activity.
Our focus remains on improving safety and providing reassurance to all those who live, work and travel within the ward.

From the Surveys on Neighbourhood Link you have told us that drug dealing and usage at locations across the Braunstone and Rowley Fields area is a concern.
Issued 01 April 2026
Drug dealing and drug use across the Braunstone and Rowley Fields area remains a key priority following continued feedback from residents through Neighbourhood Link surveys.
Throughout May, the beat team has continued a proactive and intelligence-led approach, focusing on disruption, enforcement, and high-visibility patrols within known hotspot locations.
These patrols are aimed at deterring activity, gathering information, and reassuring the community.
During this period, the team has successfully executed a misuse of drugs warrant, resulting in the seizure of a quantity of Class B drugs.
This enforcement action demonstrates our commitment to tackling drug-related activity and the harm it causes within the community.
Work is ongoing to secure further drug warrants, which will be executed in due course as part of continued efforts to disrupt local drug supply and associated criminality.
In addition, officers have continued to engage with residents across the ward, gathering valuable intelligence and maintaining awareness of developing issues. Information provided by the community remains vital in supporting our operations and directing our patrols.
