  • Priority:

    Action taken:

  • Priority:

The beat team aim to tackle different elements of ASB in Mountsorrel, including the use of e-bikes and scooters.

    Issued 01 October 2026

    Action taken:

This month the Mountsorrel Beat Team have been working closely with partner agencies, local residents and housing providers to resolve ongoing neighbour disputes and anti-social behaviour issues, with the aim of achieving positive and long-term resolutions for all parties involved.

We have been conducting high-visibility patrols throughout the village at key locations to provide reassurance to the community, gather intelligence and deter anti-social behaviour.

The team have also continued to monitor reports of ASB, carrying out follow-up enquiries where necessary and working proactively to prevent issues from escalating. We would encourage residents to continue reporting incidents so that we can build an accurate picture of any ongoing concerns and take the most appropriate action.

  • Priority:

The beat team aim to tackle speeding in Mountsorrel

    Issued 01 October 2026

    Action taken:

Road safety remains a key priority for the Mountsorrel Beat Team and, in response to concerns raised by residents, officers were out on Halstead Road this month carrying out proactive speed checks as part of our ongoing commitment to improving safety on local roads.

It was encouraging to find that the vast majority of drivers were travelling within the speed limit and demonstrating a responsible attitude towards road safety. As a result, no drivers required words of advice and no tickets were issued during the checks.

The Beat Team will continue to carry out speed enforcement operations across Mountsorrel. We remain committed to addressing concerns raised by the public, tackling speeding where it occurs and working to make our roads safer for everyone

    Actioned 01 October 2026

  • Priority:

    Burglaries in and around Mountsorrel

    Issued 01 October 2026

    Action taken:

I am pleased to report that there have been no reported burglaries in Mountsorrel this month. While this is encouraging news, the Beat Team remains committed to preventing crime and ensuring the village continues to be a safe place to live, work and visit.

Throughout the month, officers have been conducting high-visibility patrols across the village, focusing on areas identified through local knowledge and community feedback. These patrols provide reassurance to residents, deter criminal activity and allow officers to engage directly with members of the public.

    Actioned 29 October 2026
