Your dedicated neighbourhood team
Your Dedicated Neighbourhood Team (DNT) is a group of local police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

We will: We will conduct multi agency visits to the area to speak to residents regarding the issues and actions we can take to tackle the issues.
We will work with local authorities and land and building owners to ensure we are maintaining the safety of residents and will take robust action against those causing harm. -

Retail Crime – Belvoir Shopping centre and Whitwick Retail Park.
You Said: We are aware that local businesses are being subject to theft which includes repeat offenders targeting certain stores.Action taken:
We Will: We will complete targeted operations in the area, working with colleagues in CCTV to target those causing harm and repeat offenders.
We will work with our local enforcement teams and our Safer Streets officers to identify those committing offences and seek convictions and long term orders to enable officers to take robust action. -

You Said: You have raised concerns regarding drug use and the anti-social behaviour associated with this type of criminality.Action taken:
We will: We will work with partners to complete multi agency visits in the location to seek your concerns and views. We will work with local targeting teams to develop intelligence and work to bring those causing harm to justice. We will also look to work with our legal teams to develop long term resolutions.
