I am the Neighbourhood policing area commander for North West Leicester. I have worked in a wide range of roles across the whole force area and aim to bring this experience to effectively lead my policing teams to ensure North West Leicestershire is a safe place to live, work and visit.
I am Police Community Support Officer 6596 Rose. I have worked for Leicestershire Police since 2017 in a variety of roles including High Harm, Youth Engagement and Cadet Unit leader.
I am now working on the Coalville Beat striving to tackle ASB, safeguard the vulnerable and working alongside partner agencies for the betterment of the local community to make Coalville a safer place for everyone to enjoy.
I am Police Community Support Officer 6387 Suffolk. I have been a PCSO for over 11 years. Previous roles I have worked as a beat officer for the Bardon Beat Team and a Safeguarding Officer. For the past 3 years I have been a Coalville Town Beat Team Officer. You will see me walking the beat, engaging with our community and local partners.
I am Police Sergeant 4704. I have worked for Leicestershire Police for nearly two decades covering a number of front line roles.
I am now the beat manager for Coalville Town Centre and also our Forest Beat which covers locations including Moira, Measham and surrounding villages.
I aim to use my skills and experience to address those issues which concern local residents and work with local partners to reach long term resolutions.
I have been a response officer for the majority of my career and I've also worked in the Domestic Abuse Investigation Unit.

I am PC 77 Katie Elam, I’ve proudly served with Leicestershire Police for nearly 10 years, primarily in frontline roles. I’m now one of the dedicated beat officer for Coalville Town, I’m passionate about working closely with the community and partner agencies to tackle local concerns and find practical solutions.

I’m PC Rhys McAllister, and I’ve been a Police Officer since 2018. During my career, I’ve worked across a range of roles including investigations, response policing, and missing persons. Before joining as a Police officer, I spent a year as a Special Constable at the old Coalville station on Ashby Road. Since July 2021, I’ve been part of the Coalville Town Beat Team, where I focus on community engagement and proactive policing.
My aim is to continue working closely with the community to tackle the issues that cause the most harm. By building strong relationships and listening to local concerns, I strive to make Coalville a safer and more resilient place for everyone.
ASB in local authority and privately run car parks.
You said: We are aware of continued issues with inconsiderate drivers causing general ASB within local car parks.

We will: We are working with local security and CCTV operatives to run specific operations to address this issue. We will spend time monitoring the car parks and any misuse will be dealt with as appropriate.
We have been actively working with partners and have been involved in meetings surrounding signage in the impacted car parking areas. We are conducting frequent patrols and liaising with owners and management. Section 59 powers are being utilised where appropriate, including vehicle seizure.
We have completed further patrols and have attended meetings with partners.
We have not had any further reports of ASB within the period but continue to work with partners to ensure our car parks and public spaces are used responsibly.

Drug dealing and associated ASB within the town centre beat.You Said: You have raised concerns regarding drug use and the anti-social behaviour associated with this type of criminality.

We Will: We have received a number of reports relating to issues surrounding drug use in our town centre.
We are looking at enforcement options and working with partners to tackle the issue.
We are aware this is still an issue within the town centre and we are actively working to target this. We have recently conducted a number of warrants at properties associated with drug use and the investigations surrounding these continue. We are also working with partners surrounding longer term resolutions targeting the properties and owners.
Enquiries are being progressed regarding recent warrants completed and we have also completed further enforcement operations at addresses associated with illegal drug use.
The neighbourhood team are dedicated to working with partners to ensure offenders are brought to justice and closures are enforced at offending properties.

School Parking and traffic issues.
You Said: You have raised concerns relating to road safety, specifically surrounding our local primary schools. This includes driving at excess speed for the location, inappropriate road use and dangerous parking.

We Will: We will complete targeted operations in the areas concerned and look to offer education and enforcement where required.
We will work with partners in enforcement and ensure action is taken where appropriate.
To date we have completed enforcement operations at both All Saints Primary and Broom Leys Primary. As a result a number of parents/carers have been spoken to and provided with advice. A number of tickets have also been issued for those causing repeat or serious hazards.
We have further operations planned to address the issue at other schools across the beat.
During this month we have conducted further checks at Belvoirdale Primary. This has resulted in an offending vehicle being issued a ticket for traffic offences. We are continuing our patrols and work with the primary schools to encourage and enforce safer road use.
