ASB - Police are working to reduce ongoing anti-social behaviour, particularly involving young people. This includes increased patrols in hotspot areas, early intervention, and enforcement action against repeat offenders to prevent further disruption to residents..
Issued 01 July 2026
The local beat team continues to address reports of anti-social behaviour (ASB), particularly involving groups of young people. Officers have been working with partner agencies to identify repeat offenders and take appropriate action where necessary. Engagement with residents and young people remains a priority to prevent further incidents. With the return to school for children after the summer break, we are likely to see a decrease in ASB reporting over the coming months.

We know from previous years that at around this time off-road bikes and quad bikes start to become an issue – being ridden illegally and dangerously in open and green spaces. With the nights getting lighter, we will be carrying out dedicated patrols to try and tackle this issue.
Issued 01 July 2026
We continue to receive reports of off-road bikes being ridden on open spaces and residential areas across Eyres Monsell. These vehicles cause significant concern within the community due to the risk they can pose to the law abiding public.
Over the last month, officers have conducted targeted patrols in hotspot locations and have acted on information provided by residents. A number of illegal off-road bikes have been seized last month. The local team will continue dedicated patrols and where offenders can be identified we will take robust enforcement action.
