ASB - Police are working to reduce ongoing anti-social behaviour, particularly involving young people. This includes increased patrols in hotspot areas, early intervention, and enforcement action against repeat offenders to prevent further disruption to residents..
Issued 01 July 2026
We have continued to address ongoing anti-social behaviour, particularly incidents involving young people. Joint visits have now been carried out alongside the Leicester City Council community safety team, allowing for early intervention and engagement with those involved, and the identification of any underlying issues contributing to the behaviour.
High-visibility patrols remain in place within known hotspot areas, and further enforcement action will be taken where necessary against repeat offenders. This partnership approach aims to reduce incidents and provide reassurance to local residents, with ongoing monitoring to ensure the issue.

Tackling drug dealing and drug use remains a key priority for police. Officers continue to carry out targeted operations based on local intelligence and are working closely with Leicester City Council to take action against addresses linked to drug-related activity.
Information provided by members of the public has been vital in supporting this work. Reports from the community help officers identify hotspots, build intelligence, and take effective action against those involved in drug-related crime. This ongoing cooperation plays a crucial role in enabling police to target the right individuals and locations.
Residents are encouraged to continue sharing information, as all reports contribute to a clearer picture of activity in the area and help keep communities safe.

Police will continue to carry out targeted patrols and intelligence-led activity to identify those responsible and take enforcement action where necessary. The use of a range of proven tactics from previous summers remains in place to reduce incidents and improve safety for residents.
Members of the public are encouraged to keep reporting concerns, as community information remains vital in supporting police to take effective action against those involved
