Addressing issues with anti-social behaviour across the beat, particularly in the New Found Pool area, such as problems with youths, criminal damage on Bonchurch Street, parking issues and misuse of public footpaths and pavements across the ward.

We did: Where Police powers exist we have exercised these to remove vehicles either dangerously parked or not covered by the required documentation. We continue to work with partners to take steps to solve issues with criminal damage on Bonchurch Street. With support from our team, a female was recently arrested in relation to damage on Tudor road and bailed with conditions to prevent her returning to the area.

Dealing with the production of class B drugs on the area, in addition to tackling the use and supply of both class A and B drugs in areas where this affects the local community.

We did: We discovered 5 cannabis grows on the ward during the month of January and a further 2 have been located so far in February. Further enforcement is planned. We have worked with partners to re-locate 2 different vulnerable people suspected to be victims of 'cuckooing', one on Noble Street and one on Stephenson's Way. In early February we conducted a number of stop searches relating to drugs, resulting in the arrest of a male for possession of class A and B drugs.

We did: We recently secured the arrest of a male for a number of theft offences. He was arrested on Noble Street, charged and remanded to court. We continue to conduct regular stop searches where grounds allow of persons suspected to be involved in acquisitive crime.
