Addressing issues with anti-social behaviour across the beat, particularly in the open spaces, such as street drinking, fly tipping and parking issues.

We did: We have taken part in joint agency work with Leicester City Council partners to target those parking dangerously in the vicinity of schools in the area. We have a patch walk in planning to discuss and address fly tipping, particularly in the Kate Street/Tudor Road areas.

Dealing with the production of class B drugs on the area, in addition to tackling the use and supply of both class A and B drugs in areas where this affects the local community.

We did: In April we have conducted numerous stop checks, with at least 4 leading to positive results where controlled drugs have been recovered. We have arrested and charged a male suspected of dealing drugs in the Dannett Walk, Rally park areas. This work has resulted in this male serving the remainder of an existing sentence meaning his will be in HMP until 2029.

Improving road safety on the ward around speeding on the arterial routes, in addition to the illegal/unsafe use of e-scooters and electric bikes on roads and footpaths.

We did: We continue to take an phased approach to the use of e-scooters on roads and footpaths. Enforcement is planned for those who fail to heed warnings.
